- An email client for one person
Your mail stays on your machine.
Fumi is an email client. It reads iCloud, Gmail, Microsoft and Tuta mail and keeps all of it encrypted on the computer it runs on. One person builds it for their own use, and it isn’t sold or distributed.
-
storage
Encrypted at rest
Messages, attachments and sign-ins live in an encrypted store, locked with a passphrase. While Fumi is locked, nothing decrypts.
-
telemetry
Nothing reports home
No analytics, crash reports or tracking. Remote images stay off until you choose to load them.
-
sending
Nothing sends silently
Every message waits in the Outbox for a delay you set, and never sends while you’re still editing it.
-
sync
Sync without trust
Settings shared between your computers are encrypted before they leave. The server stores only ciphertext it can’t read, and never sees your mail or passwords.

ai
Local by default
AI features run on your own computer. A cloud model is something you turn on, one feature at a time.
